3 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
1/2 t. salt
1 T. butter
1 t. vanilla
2 t. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, syrup and water in large heavy saucepan; boil to 250º, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add peanuts, salt and butter; cook to 300º. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour quickly in a ribbon down center of four buttered cookie sheets. Slip a knife under edges of candy; carefully pull candy out thin towards edges of pan.
