1 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs (separated)
4 level tbsp. flour
1/2 stick butter
2 1/2 cups coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt, and flour separately. Mix milk and egg yolks. Combine sugar mixture and milk mixture. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add vanilla, butter, and coconut.

Pour into baked pie crust and top with meringue or Cool Whip.
