2 qts milk
2 c. raisins
1 1/4 c sugar
1/2 pd butter or 2 sticks melted
1/2 c cooking oil
6 eggs
1/2 tsp saffron in 1/4 c boiling water ( soak for approx. 20 min)
2 pkg yeast or 1/2 cake fresh yeast
use enough flour for a soft dough- about 22 cups

Directions:

Mix ingredientsiwell, let raise, knead down and let raise again.
Form into loaves and put into tin cans ( coffee Cans) or bread pans and let raise to double the kneaded size.
Bake at 350 degrees 30 - 35 minutes
Frost if desired.
