1/2 lb. butter
BATTER:
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp water

5 granny smith apples
(cinnamon sugar)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the batter and put in cake pan and push up sides of pan. Peel and slice apples into thin pieces and cover batter with single slices. Then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar until covered and make sure batter on sides of pan is covered with cinnamon sugar also. Cut off little slabs of butter and put on top

Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
