Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Loaf of French Bread or your choice
Deli Meats such as Salami, Ham, Chicken
Shredded Lettuce
Cheese Slices or Grated Cheese to your taste
Italian Dressing
Condiments you prefer

Directions:
Directions:
Slice the loaf of bread into portions that you prefer. Wrap in foil and bake until lightly toasted. While still warm, spread the Italian Dressing on the inside, top and bottom. Now build your sub. Usually the meat items first. Then cheese, condiments next and finally the shredded lettuce.
If you prefer a warm sub and you have lost that while prepping or you wish to melt the cheese, return to the oven just enough to do so. Remember to leave off the lettuce and top off before serving.
Now you have created a quick sandwich with little prep time. Great for on-the-go, a movie night or last minute parties.
This is easy turned into a Vegetarian Sub by omitting the meat and using olives, sliced peppers, onions, shredded carrots. We have done subs with toasted eggplant, sliced zucchini, squash etc.
