Ingredients:
Chicken Wings
Flour (I prefer to use Rice flour, regular flour works fine)
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Crystal Hot Sauce
Peanut Oil
Dish rag, napkins or paper towels (for keeping the fingers and face wiped during eating).

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and clean wings. Season with salt and pepper to taste, dip in flour and fry in peanut oil, fry them as long as you can to get as much grease out as you can. Drain on paper towel.

Mix equal parts of butter and crystal hot sauce (I usually mix ˝ cup of each together, you can change the mixture to milder or hotter by adjusting for more butter or less hot sauce). Note: You can also add 1/3 cup honey to make honey wings which are somewhat milder. Dip wings in the sauce after brief draining. Great served with ranch or blue cheese dressing along with celery and/or carrots, green onions or your choice of veggies.

Personal Notes:
The term “Edwin’s” wings comes from Edwin Cuchens as this is his recipe shared with me in 1998 by his wife and my friend Beverly Cuchens. I have made them many times and they are always great.
