1/3 can of corn left over from something else
2-3 small containers of left overs from grams fridge
crushed corn chips
cheese with the mold cut off then grated

Directions:

* Mix left overs and corn together, pour in a casserole dish
* Bake covered for half an hour
* Remove cover, generously sprinkle crushed chips and cheese
* Put back in oven, brown top, about ten minutes
* Serve with a salad of left over lettuce, onion, cucumbers, handful of mystery nuts, fridge door dressing and something that was probably olives once.

It's like a good sourdough starter. If you do it right you can actually eat parts of the same meal for hundreds of years. I have tried to repeat this in my own kitchen countless times, but no one can beat the magic touch of Grandma and her "everything but the kitchen sink" casserole on a Tuesday night.
