2 cup farina (smeed naaem)
2 cup flour
1 1/3 cup vegges oil
1 tsp yeast
1/4 cup ground pistachio
1 cup warm water
2 tsp ground anise
1 tsp ground black cherry pit (mahlab)
4 tsp sugar
Oil to fry
( Use a grater for the shape)

In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients together then add the oil, mix add water knead until the batter is combine.
Cove it and sit a side to rest for half hour.
Cut it to a small size ball, and roll it on the grater for the shape. In a deep frying pot add oil half way.
Fry it on medium low heat cook until light to medium gold brown. Take it out from the heat to a paper towel.
Immerse into the cooled syrup and keep it in the syrup for 5 min, use a strainer to drain the extra syrup.
Serve in a serving dish sprinkle with pistachio.
