4 heaping cups flour
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 package yeast
2 eggs
1/4 lb butter
1 heaping tbsp salt
3 tbsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a soup bowl, mix 1/2 cup lukewarm water, 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp salt. Sprinkle yeast over top and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. In another bowl, mix 2 eggs, 1/4 cup butter, heaping tbsp salt and 3 tbsp sugar. Warm to lukewarm. Add the flour and yeast mixture. Knead to a "fine existancy." Cover and let rise. Punch down and turn - repeat three times. Braid the dough and let rise again until double in size. Bake at 350º to start for 30 minutes, then at 300º for "a while."
