4-5 lbs of pork neck bones
3/4 box of pitted prunes
3/4 box of white raisins
3-4 apples, peeled and cut into sixths
1 medium stalk of celery cut up
3 tbsp of molasses or enough to make the soup a light brown color
1/4 cup of vinegar or more to taste
1/2 cup sour cream or half and half
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Cook neck bones in pot of water, (Large Soup Pot) until meat is almost done

Skim fat from top of water.

Add prunes, raisins, apples and celery and cook untill meat and celery is soft.

Mix vinegar with sour cream or half and half and cook 5 minutes longer.

Serve with dumplings or kluski (Polish Noodles)

This soup takes the place of the "real" duck blood soup we use to eat at Easter. Just like the real one it tastes better the next day.

The real one was a BUSIA Favorite.

It will last for about two weeks in the refrigerator.
