2 cups flour
1 cup butter (no substitutes)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounce packet of chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Chill for 30 minutes.
Roll batter into 3 inch logs and place onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes, then cool completely.
Melt chocolate chips and shortening. Dip half a cookie in chocolate mix and place onto cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Chill until chocolate gets hard.
