Ingredients:  
1/2 cup butter
1/3 sup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 egg separated
Nuts finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar then add egg yolk. Beat well. Then add vanilla and flour.
Shape into ball size walnuts. Dip in unbeaten egg white, roll in nuts. Dent with your thumb or a thimble. Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Remove and re-dent cookies. Cook about 2 minutes longer
Place on cooling racks.
Add green and/or red jelly or jam.(Looks like a Christmas wreath)
