Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 oz chocolate syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream (softened)
24 oreo cookies
1/4 cup butter
8 oz Cool Whip
pecans (chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium sauce pan, bring syrup, milk and 1/3 cup butter to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir constantly until the mixture becomes thick, like hot fudge sauce. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Mix well and allow to cool completely.
Place ice cream in a large bowl and allow to soften.
Crush the cookies into a graham-cracker consistency. (Put the cookies in a zip-lock bag and smash them as fine as possible.) Melt the 1/4 cup of butter and mix into the crushed cookies. (I do this right into the bag.) Pat this mix into a 9x13 pan. Put in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
When ice cream is soft enough. (about the texture of thick icing) spread over the cookies crust with a knife. Freeze for 30 minutes.
Remove from freezer and pour the syrup mixture over the ice cream and return to freezer for about 30 more minutes.
Remove from freezer once again and add a layer of Cool Whip and top with the pecans. Cover with foil and return to freezer for an additional 4 to 6 hours. If you can wait that long.
