Bread Crumbs (or Pepperidge Farm herbed crumbs)
1# sausage fried
1 small onion
Add plenty of water (we now use chicken broth instead)
2T salt
2T sage
1 egg (slightly beaten)

Directions:

Combine all ingreadients and bake for 1 hour and 350 degrees

Thru the years we have changed this recipe. We still debate about using day old bread or the store bought bread crumbs. We always are looking for ways to improve - but it is always a big hit around the holidays!
