2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup white syrup
1-3/4 sticks butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
pinch of cream of tartar
6-8 quarts of popped popcorn

Directions:
Directions:
Boil ingredients together for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda, salt and cream of tartar. Pour mixture over popped popcorn. Stir and spread into a jelly roll pan or large roaster and bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour; stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool and store in air tight containers. Keeps very well.
