1 cube (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 egg
1 box yellow cake mix
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
With electric mixer, cream butter & cream cheese together until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well. Mix in cake mix. Cover & refrigerate for half and hour. Roll out tablespoon-sized balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 12 minutes.

These cookies are very soft. You can use any flavor of cake mix. I used a butter pecan cake mix and they were a big hit at my pack meeting.
