2 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp & 1 tsp baking powder
1/2 c.shortening (Crisco)
2/3 c. whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder. Cut in shortening to size of small peas. Add milk and stir until mixed...forms a ball. Place ball on a lightly flowered board. Gently knead about 12 times...spreading out. Use a floured round cookie cutter....cut out biscuits and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Again, one of the recipes passed down from Grandma Sooy. Mother (Betty Sooy) made them for dessert...we dipped them in Log Cabin syrup...makes my mouth water to think of them again.
