4 sq unsweetened chocolate 1 oz each
1 c butter
2 c sugar
4 eggs
2 c plain flour
1 t salt
1 t vanilla
ICING
2 sq chocolate
2 c sugar
1/2 cup milk, 1/2 c butter, 1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour a jelly roll pan. Melt chocolate and butter, Pour into mixing bowl and cool, add sugar and the eggs 1 at a time beating after each one. Add flour, salt and vanilla and mix well. Bake 250-300º for 30 minutes and spread with ICING while hot.
Melt chocolate and butter, add all other ingredients and stir. Boil exactly 1 minute, add vanilla and beat well.

My daughters grew up eating these and they still salivate when they are mentioned. It was always a good dish to take when lots of kids were around. .There was always a lot of icing licking during the procedure.
