1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Crisco
1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese, softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour, plain
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (6 ounces) package frozen coconut, thawed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon coconut flavoring

Directions:

Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.

Cream butter, Crisco and cream cheese together. Gradually add sugar and beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

Sift together flour, soda, and salt and add to creamed mixture, stirring just until blended. Stir in coconut and flavorings.

Pour into the greased and floured tube cake pan and bake at 325º for 1 and 1/2 hours. Cool 20 minutes and remove from pan.
