"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
1 pint rubbing alcohol
1 1/2 Tbsp sudsing ammonia
1 Tbsp liquid dish soap

Directions:
Place ingredients into a plastic gallon-size container. Add enough water to fill the gallon bottle. Put in a spray bottle, and go. (Or in my case, ask Brent if he will clean the mirrors for me!)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We got this recipe from Brent's grandma shortly after we were married (as poor college students) and have used it for nearly 30 years now. It works great and is very inexpensive.

We use an empty gallon-sized liquid laundry detergent bottle to mix the glass cleaner in because it is a heavy plastic and won't break down over time. Be sure to label it glass cleaner! Refill your spray bottle from this bottle when needed. Then make another batch.
