4 cups flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 Tbsp powdered milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients. Add enough warm water to make a sticky dough. (It doesn't need to be really sticky. You should be able to handle the dough without too much trouble.) Cover and set aside for at least 30 minutes. Pulling off small amounts of dough, form into scones and deep fry.

Family tradition is having Navajo tacos and scones earlier in the week, at the Homestead family reunion. With Aunt Deanna in charge, this is usually the Thursday dinner meal and well worth taking a day off work and getting to the reunion earlier for!
