Ingredients:  
Boil 1 cup of raisins and 1/2 cup water for 2 minutes. Set aside to cool

Cream together:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Add cooled raisins to creamed mixture and then add:
2 cups flour
1/2 cup baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda

Directions:

Mix together well. Drop onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400º about 8 minutes.
