1 hen boiled, broth reserved. Remove meat from hen
Biscuits crumbled to make 4 c
Cornbread crumbled to make 2 c
2 c chopped celery
1-2 large onions chopped
2 T poultry seasoning
Salt and Pepper to taste

4 c Cornbread Recipe
3.5 c self rising cornmeal
1/2 c flour
3 c buttermilk
1/2 c oil

Directions:
Directions:
Pour broth over bread crumbs. Add the meat from the hen. You don't want it too wet or too dry, but better wet than dry. Reserve some of the biscuits, crumble, add butter to use as a topping. pour into 9x13 dish and bake 350-400 degrees until brown (an hour or so).

Susie doubles this for holidays. She wrote this recipe down while having Meemaw on the stool in her kitchen watching over her. They took turn tasting and just knew when it was right. She told Susie that the it was the best ever.
