6 medium potatoes (i use red potatoes)
2 hard-boiled eggs
6 slices bacon
3-4 chopped green onions
1/2 t salt
1/8 t pepper
3 T vinegar
1 T sugar
2 T mayo

Directions:
Directions:
cook potatoes in their jackets until tender. cool enough to handle peel and dice along with eggs. cook bacon till crisp and drain. reserve 6 T bacon fat. crumble bacon into potatoes and add onions. stir vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper into fat and heat over low heat. pour over potatoes and toss lightly. add mayo and toss lightly for a creamy salad.
