3 cubes (1-1/2 cups) butter
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
3 cups flour
1 cup 7-Up

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and flavorings. Add flour and 7-Up. Pour into two 9 x 5 inch loaf pans - divided evenly and greased and floured well. Bake in a slow oven 275º for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

This was Ann Lander's favorite pound cake she printed once in the newspaper. It is a good one - enjoy either plain or topped with fruit and whipped cream.
