For pizza dough:
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 C. luke warm water
3 1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive oil

Sauce:
1 can Italian plum tomatoes
2 8oz. cans tomato sauce
1/2 C. chopped onion
1/8 C. snipped parsley
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp basil

Suggested toppings:
2 lb. sausage
2 tsp. dried oregano
1 1b. mozzarella cheese
1/2 C. grated parmesan cheese
1 1b. shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 2 12"-13" diameter pans, 2" deep. Sprinkle with cornmeal. Dissolve yeast in water, let stand 5 minutes. Mix flour, salt in large bowl. Gradually add half yeast mixture, then oil, then yeast mixture with 1 to 2 tbsp. water until dough is formed. Kneed on floured surface 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl and let rise 1 1/2 hours until doubled. Punch down, roll out in circles to fit pans, roll to 1/4 inch thick.

Mix sauce ingredients in large saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 2 hours, cool slightly and place on dough rounds.

Add toppings ending with shredded cheese. Bake @ 400 degrees, 25 min.
