Aunt Mary's Lemon Oatmeal Cookies

2/3 C Margarine or butter
1 C Brown sugar
1 C White sugar

1 egg
1/3 Milk

2 to 2 & 1//2 C Flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 & 1/2 C oats
1/2 C raisins
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon extract
lemon peel (optional

Directions:
1. Measure dry ingredients; set aside
2. Cream sugar, egg and margarine
3. Mix milk, raisins and flavorings
together
4. Add milk mixture to sugar mixture
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet
6. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls on greased cookie sheet
BAke at 350 for about 12 minutes
