1 ham butt or shank (I buy Cooks brand Butt portion)
Dr. Pepper (enough to cover ½ of the ham in the crockpot)

Mustard Sauce:
½ c. cider vinegar
½ c. dry mustard
1 egg, beaten
1 1/3 cup sugar
Dash salt
Miracle Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Boil soda for 5 minutes. Place ham in crock pot and pour soda over until the crock pot is half full. Cook for 8-10 hours on low.

For mustard sauce, mix vinegar and mustard in a glass bowl and let sit overnight. Mix in egg, sugar, and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, until at a full boil and thick. Cool and refrigerate for up to 6 months. When ready to serve, mix equal parts mustard sauce with Miracle Whip.
