3 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
5 T. flour
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 T. butter
1 baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Add milk, egg yolks and vanilla. Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Add butter and mix well. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue using egg whites.
