8 slices of bread without crust
1 1/2 cups whole milk or cream
1/4 cup butter or margarine
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup chopped walnuts(can omit)
rhubarb(between 2-4 cups depending on taste)

preheat oven to 325
butter 8x8 pan
scald milk, add butter till melts pour over bread
let stand 15 min
whisk eggs, sugar, cinnamon, salt
add rhubarb mix and bake till toothpick comes out clean
