Corn Meal Crust:
2 1/2 cups cold water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 1/4 cups yellow corn meal

Tamale Pie Filling:
1 3/4 cups (15 oz can) chili con carne
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup drained sliced ripe olives
1/2 cup cream style corn
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients for crust in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until quite thick and stiff, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Reserve 3/4 cup. Line sides and bottom of buttered 1/2 quarter casserole with rest of mixture.

Filling: Combine all ingredients except cheese in saucepan. Heat over medium heat. Pour into casserole. Top with rounded tsp of remaining crust mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake in 350º oven for 30 minutes.
