1/2 cup starter
1 Tbsp sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix starter and 1 cup flour in large bowl. Leave out over night. Next morning, turn soft dough out onto 1/2 cup flour. Combine salt, sugar, baking powder and soda with remaining 1/2 cup flour and sift over dough. Mix with hands until dry ingredients are mixed well. Knead until right consistency. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with cutter and dip in warm grease and melted butter. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
