Ingredients:  
• 6 cups – Rolled or Old Fashioned Oats
• 1 cup – chopped almonds or sliced
Mix these first two ingredients together in a large bowl.

• 1 ½ sticks of butter
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp salt
• 4 tsp vanilla
• ½ cup honey
Mix these next five ingredients in a glass bowl and microwave or saucepan on stove. Stir in honey. Don't heat the honey with the butter mix.

Pour liquid mixture over oat mixture and toss to distribute.

Spread granola on a parchment lined baking pan and bake. Do not stir, but halfway through cooking time rotate pan.

• 1 cup apricots
• 1 cup craisins

While granola is cooking cut up apricots and add to craisins.

Cool granola completely, break into small pieces and then add the fruit.

Transfer to airtight container(s).

Variations:
Pecan-Orange granola with craisins
add 2 Tbsp orange zest & 2 ½ tsps cinnamon to butter.
Substitute chopped pecans for almonds
after granola is broken add craisins.

Spiced walnut granola with dried apple
add 2 tsps cinnamon, 1 ½ tsp ginger, ¾ tsp allspice, ½ tsp nutmeg and ½ tsp black pepper to butter sugar mixture.
Substitiute coarsely chopped walnuts for almonds
after granola is broken add dried apples


Tropical ganola with dried mango
