6 cups shredded potatoes, egg beaten, 1/2 onion grated, 4 tablespoon flour, 3 tablespoon milk, 1 teaspoon salt.

Cook and drain potatoes well. Combine with all remaining ingredients. Fry in oil in fry pan at 375% until golden brown.

Grandma's note: "When I was a little girl, I remember when I came home from school, and I had to help grate the potatoes for the pancakes. I remember doing quite a few, because I think there were six of us kids at home at the time, and of course, my brothers would have to out-do each other to see who could eat the most!"
