1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cups all-purpose sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoons nutmeg
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup brandy
1/4 cup whipping cream
9-ounce package condensed mincemeat, crumbled
2 tablespoons flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine brandy and cream. Add dry ingredients nd brandy-cream mixture, beginning and ending with the dry items. In a small bowl, combine crumble mincemeat with 2 tablespoons flour. Mix until mincemeat is well seperated and dredged with flour. Fold into batter. Spoon batter into a greased and waxed-paper lined 9-inch tube pan. Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 20 minutes, until cake is golden brown and springs back when touched lightly with fingers. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn cake out and remove waxed paper.Cool. Tastes even better toasted.
