4 cans minced clams (6 1/2 oz.), drain, save broth
2 sliced fried and diced; 1/2 c. chopped onion
3 c. diced potatoes 2 c. half and half
1/2 tsp. pepper; salt as needed

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon til crisp. To drippings add onions and cook til soft. Stir in clam broth and potatoes; simmer covered 25 min. Stir in clams. Warm cream over medium heat until there it bubbles. Pour hot cream mixture. Add pepper and bacon. Season to taste. Makes 7 1/2 cups..
