10 lg. Granny Smith apples, stems removed
2 1/2 lbs. caramel
1 lb. powdered sugar
2-3 lbs. toasted pecans
2 1/2 lbs. melting chocolate
1/2 lb. white melting chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
-Insert stick into apple, making sure to go to the bottom.
-Melt caramel in pot & add powdered sugar. Heat to 160-170 degrees - low-medium heat.
-Place toasted pecans in a large bowl.
-Dip apple into caramel totally covering apple, especially where the stick is inserted into the apple.
-Roll apple in pecans. You'll need to pat pecans onto the apple, making sure the apple retains its circular shape.
-Set apples on parchment lined cookie sheet & refrigerate to set.
-Melt chocolate over double boiler and dip apple into chocolate & spoon chocolate over apple.
-Set apple on cookie sheet & refrigerates to set.
-Drizzle chocolate all over apple using fork, refrigerate.
-Melt white chocolate in small cup in microwave, drizzle over apple, refrigerate.
-Optional - drizzle again with brown chocolate.

-To serve: Make sure apple is at room temperature. Cut along stick & then cut into slices.

-To store: Apples will keep for quite a long time in the refridgerator.บบบบบ
