2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
8 pkgs Rolo candy
2 tbsp sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In s small bowl, combine flour, cocoa and baking soda. Blend well.

In a large bowl, beat sugars and butter until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; beat well.

Add flour mixture to butter-sugar mixture and blend well. Stir in 1/2 cup pecans, if desired. Chill dough for at least 2 hours.

Shape approximately 1 tsp dough around 1 Rolo, completely covering the candy. Combine pecans and sugar in a small bowl. Press one side of rolled cookie into sugar-pecan mixture. Place nut-side up, 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 7-10 minutes or until set and slightly cracked.
