2 pounds ground beef, grass fed 90/10 lean
1 large sweet onion, diced
Two 14 1/2 ounce cans diced tomatoes with juice
Two 16 ounce cans black beans with juice. May substitute red or kidney beans
One 29 ounce can tomato sauce
One 11 1/2 ounce can V-8 juice, or more if thinner broth is desired
2 packets McCormick's 1.25 ounce mild chili seasoning

Saute beef and onion in a Dutch oven, until beef is done but not browned. Do not drain. Add all other ingredients. Cover and bring to a boil. Cook on medium heat for 15 - 20 minutes. Reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with cornbread or crackers.
