1 C softened butter
2 1/2 C brown sugar
2 1/2 C flour
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 C chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugars
Beat in eggs.
Stir in dry ingredients
Add nuts

Bake in a 350º oven approximately 10 minutes. Do not over bake. Cookie should be soft and chewy.

We could always count on Grandma having a lard bucket full of these cookies ready for us to take with us back to Oklahoma when we would stop by to see her.
