1/2 lb. bacon cooked and crumbled
5 med red potatoes,cooked and chopped
1/2 c. finely chopped red onion
2 T all-purpose flour
3 T vinegar; 1 T sugar
1/2 c. beer
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce, such as Tabasco
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. salt; 1/4 tsp. pepper

Saute onion in bacon drippings until tender. Combine sugar flour and seasonings; stir into drippings. Add beer and vinegar stirring until smooth. Bring to a boil. Add potatoes and bacon. Mix. If too thick add a little more beer or water.
