2-3 lb. pork tenderloin (shoulder/butt can be used too)
20 oz. root beer (we like a&w)
garlic powder, to taste
onion powder, to taste
salt & pepper, to taste
red pepper, to tasteYour favorite homemade or bottled barbecue sauce
Hamburger buns.

Directions:
Directions:
Place the pork in your slow cooker, and pout over enough root beer to almost cover it.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Remove the pork and discard the liquid.
Shred the pork and serve with the barbecue sauce, on rolls if desired.
Alternatively, if you want to keep it warm or put it out at a party, return the shredded meat to the crock pot and pour the barbecue sauce over it. Stir, and keep on low or keep warm setting.

If you haven't tried this, you need to! It's one of our favorite meals now. I like to make double batches, freeze what we don't eat to pull out for another quick dinner. Just defrost, heat, and serve.
