Cream Puff:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs

Vanilla Cream Frosting:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
3 egg yolks, beaten
3 cups milk
2 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla

Cream Puff:

Add butter to 1/2 cup water; heat until butter melts. Fold in flour all at once. Stir vigorously until a ball forms in center of pan. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.

Drop by Tablespoon onto greases cookie sheet.

Bale at 375º for 40 minutes or until beads of moisture on puffs disappear.

Cool; then split and fill with filling.



Filling:

Combine first 4 ingredients in a pan over low heat or in a double boiler. Gradually add milk; stir constantly. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Let cool and then fill cream puff shells.
