1 lb. raisins
3 1/2 qrt. water
10-12 whole cloves
2 orange peels
10-12 cardamom split (1 1/2 tsp. ground)
3 sticks cinnamon
1/2 cup almonds (cut up)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook 1 hour, just before you remove it from the stove add 1 cup sugar. Stir and cool 15 minutes until there's no steam. Add 1 pint Everclear alcohol and 1 quart of port wine. Stir twice, light with match and cover. Sit to cool or drain through a cloth.

Great-Aunt Sally always put the lid on quick so it didn't burn off too much alcohol!!! Uncle Davin says to cut the raisins in 1/2 or the raisin flavor is too strong.
