3 1/2 to 4 c. Flour
1 1/2 T. Salt
2 tsp. sugar
2 T. Shortening (gramita used crisco)
2 pkgs of yeast (4 1/2 tsp)
1 can warm canned milk

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in canned milk. Add salt, sugar and crisco. Add flour 1/2 c at a time until dough comes together. Cover with a thin layer of crisco and let rise in a covered bowl for 1 hour. Knead again. Make into balls and put into 13x9 in. baking pan. Let rise until dough fills pan, about another hour. Heat oven to 350º. Bake for 15 minutes, then lower heat to 300º and bake another 45 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
