1 cup Raisins
1/2 cup Water

1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
1 cup Granulated Sugar
2 Large Eggs
1/2 tsp. Vanilla Flavoring

2 cups All-purpose Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
3/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
1/8 tsp. Ground Allspice
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease cookie sheets. Combine raisins and water in a small saucepan. Stir. Heat on medium until it boils. Boil slowly for 5 minutes. Cool.

Combine all ingredients in section 2. Add the raisins and water to batter.

Add remaining ingredients. Drop onto cookie sheets. Bake for 13 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes. Allow cookies to cool completely on wax paper.
