Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 C self-rising flour
1 C sugar
¾-1 C milk
2-3 C homegrown ripe peaches – make sure peaches aren’t very firm. The more tender & more reddish tint, the riper.

Directions:
Directions:
Cut 1 Tablespoon at a time on bottom of large dish. Do not melt the butter. Combine flour & sugar in a large mixing bowl. Slowly stir in milk until batter is a little thin (You may need to add a little less milk – ¾ C if 1 C is too much.) The batter should be thin. Pour most, but not all the batter into the baking dish. (You will not need to add Pam due to the butter being on the bottom.) Add the freshly pealed peaches. Add the remaining batter to the top of the peaches. Bake @ 350 degrees until the top is golden brown.
