Directions:
CUT SHORTENING INTO FLOUR, SALT AND BAKING POWDER. WHEN SHORTENING LOOKS LIKE PEAS ADD HOT WATER. MIX UNTIL BREAD LIKE DOUGH. TURN ON TO FLOUR BOARD AND KNEAD. ROLL OUT TO FIT SIZE OF TURKEY. ENOUGH TO FIT THE WHOLE TOP OF THE BIRD WHILE ITS IN THE PAN. ADD WATER TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN AFTER THE DOUGH IS PUT ON AND BAKE AS NORMAL. WHEN TURKEY IS DONE TAKE THE DOUGH OFF AND THROW OUT TO THE BIRDS SO THEY MAY ENJOY THE HOLIDAY ALSO.
