Ingredients:
1 1/2 c water
4 tsp butter
1/4 tsp garlic powder
4 c flour
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp dried Rosemary
2 tsp yeast
coarse kosher salt

Directions:
Directions:
Make dough in bread machine. (or knead by hand and let rise, see separate recipe for directions.)

Shape into oval loaf: Dump risen dough onto floured surface, turn over and flatten dough with your palms. Starting at one edge, roll tightly into a rough log.

Sprinkle coarse cornmeal over baking sheet(or oil the baking sheet). Place loaf on sheet with seam side down.

Brush bread w/ water. Let rise slightly.

Brush with water again and sprinkle with coarse kosher salt. Place in cold oven, turn on to 350 degrees. Bake about 1 hour (until golden and sounds hollow when tapped)

Alternate:
- flatten on baking stone, rub with extra virgin olive oil, rosemary, sage and salt. Let rise. Poke all over with your finger. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.

Optional: (Can refrigerate overnight, punch down dough after an hour or so, allow to warm to room temp, punch down and shape)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Cafe Lampara was a boutique Italian restaurant near my first workplace in the Boston area. They served rosemary bread with all meals, and it was to die for. Crusty, with a chewy moist center and topped with crystals of salt.
