3 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
3 cups flour
2 cups bananas (about 4 large)
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups pecans, chopped
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and blend. Sift flour and spices together. Add flour mixture with buttermilk and bananas, then add vanilla and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Makes 2 large loaf pans.
